A vibrant, retro-inspired pop-up that put summer hair care in the spotlight.

To celebrate the launch of Frizz Me Not and Forget Frizz, amika’s latest frizz-fighting innovations, the brand partnered with Park Creative Studio to create Sephora Canada’s first-ever single-branded haircare pop-up. The goal was clear: bring amika’s bold personality and salon heritage to life in a retail activation designed for discovery, interaction, and social sharing.

Park’s concept radiated summer energy with punchy pinks, warm sunny gradients, and nostalgic tiled textures, evoking the carefree vibe of a retro salon reimagined for today’s beauty consumer. At its heart was a throwback hood dryer styling station, a hero moment where shoppers could test products, refresh their look, and capture content with friends. Oversized visuals, custom salon chairs, and curated visual merchandising displays highlighted amika’s stylist-approved formulas, while every detail - from colour-blocked walls to selfie mirrors - was designed to spark interaction and inspire social sharing.

The result was a bold, high-touch brand activation that connected amika’s professional salon roots with a new generation of beauty lovers, achieving 142% to sales plan and proving that frizz-free summer haircare can be as fun, inclusive, and effective as the brand itself.
